BioArchitecture House For Sale

Harmony Hall for SaleA rare opportunity has come up to buy an existing bioarchitecture house, Harmony Hall in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland.

The ground floor is an open plan dining room, indoor terrace and drawing room, with the all-important 1.618 ratio of room to room. Regular workshops and meditations have been run here, of between 5 and 15 people and there is a big car park.

Mountain Sanctuary

Project Blog: Mountain SanctuaryPerched on a mountainside overlooking the Irish Sea is a beautiful piece of land that is hosting the emergence of a new family home. The building presentation is relatively simple, primarily due to a smorgasbord of planning restrictions and limitations.

However, using these imposed boundary conditions as a frame within which to play we successfully gained permission to build this home.

Ur Dream Home Article 2

Your Dream HomeIn the writing of this second article I was inspired and guided by the wise words of the great philosopher Winnie the Pooh, who simply said, “Simplest is Bestest”. It is a very good basis from which to begin to describe the underlying principles of Bio Architecture.  Without this natural ‘Pooh Protocol’ we can easily become bogged down with abstract concepts, unfamiliar language and ultimately useless opinion based information. It can also be very beneficial here to incorporate the added wisdom of another great philosopher William Occam, the 14th century English logician and Franciscan friar, who formulated the often used principle which has become known as ‘Occam’s Razor’ – which states that ‘the solution or answer with the least number of assumptions is the one most likely to be right’.

Article in The Sunday Times

Sunday Times Eddie Hobbs ArticleAn article appeared in the Sunday Times (17th October 2010), a prominent publication in Ireland, featuring the house of a well-known Irish personality Eddie Hobbs that has been designed by Michael Rice. The design is inspired by the concept of a crannóg, an artificial island, usually built in lakes, rivers and estuarine waters, and most often used as an island settlement or dwelling place in prehistoric or medieval times.

Ur Dream Home Article 1

BioArchitecture Beehive HutsOver the millennia there have been countless design and building styles from simple earth huts to classic timber cabins to modern so called ‘intelligent’ structures.  No doubt there will be many more as our technology continues to provide a platform for our apparently insatiable and indeed appropriate desire to express and create.  We are in a constant dance with the elements of our environment, and as we transform it, it transforms us.  What we construct and inhabit literally informs not only our biology but our psychology and our resulting behaviour.  We experience an alliterative continuum of building, biology and biography.  You may have heard the much used expression – ‘you are what you eat’, which poetically encapsulates the reality that what we consume and indeed

What is Bioarchitecture?

What is Bioarchitecture?Bioarchitecture is the pure principle set of rules for design, construction and land use, which utilises the necessary 'fractal' or rose like symmetry / shape of electric fields which allow all living systems to thrive, thus bioarchitecture allows building and community plans to make FRACTAL (shape similarity across scales - like Russian dolls nested in one another) and rose-petal like electrical charge fields, which puts energy into everything based on DNA.  Genes are like all living things - they are based on PHI (natural ratio / harmonic - 1:1.618033989..) and fractality precisely because only phi based constructive charge wave compression allows all biologic memory to be stored - and allows that same field effect to radiate efficiently into the electric flower of self organization called growth, heali

Dreamweaving

Dreamweaving: How to Shape, Surf and Share the SacredHow to Shape, Surf and Share the Sacred. I recall someone once saying to me ‘as soon as you have a thought about something…you are wrong’. In other words, as long as my thoughts continue to be filtered and presented through my personal perceptions of reality, then they can never accurately describe the true nature of any situation.

Choosing the Right Plan

Choosing the Right Plan for YouHow might you choose a house plan that suits all your dreams, desires and needs?  This is a very good question!  A feeling of certainty can seem elusive in these frenetic times, and multiple options and possibilities can easily overwhelm as well as excite.
